Fourth of July Festivities in the Roaring Fork Valley

In town for the Fourth of July this year? Here are the happenings and celebrations in the Roaring Fork Valley:

ASPEN - DOWNTOWN
9:30 AM festivities start. Parade 11:00 AM.
No time to prepare for the parade? Then take your kid to the SE corner of Paepke Park and join in the free bike decorating. After the parade hop over to the dunk tank at the AVSC Community Picnic (1:00 - 3:00 PM).

SNOWMASS VILLAGE - FANNY HILL
6:30 - 9:00 PM
The celebration coincides with the Snowmass Free Concert Series featuring Here Come The Mummies and includes free sweet treats, Snowmass S’mores, Bitsy Photo Booth, glow in the dark goodies, patriotic giveaways and more!

REDSTONE - DOWNTOWN
10:00 AM festivities start. Parade 12:00 PM.
Start at the old fashioned pie sale at 10am, then bike decorating at 11am. The annual parade is at noon followed by the water games for kids at 1pm, then the Ducky Derby at 2:30.

CARBONDALE - DOWNTOWN & GUS DARIAN ARENA
Parade downtown 10:30 AM. Pool party at 11:00 AM.
Wild West Rodeo - Gus Darien arena 5:30 PM


This parade is actually named "The Kids Parade" for a reason! Everyone loves the free watermelon and ice cream sandwiches at Sopris Park. Ride a bike, wear a team jersey or anything that makes you feel festive. Pool activities include watermelon races.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS - TWO RIVERS PARK
7:30 - 8:30 AM Firecracker 4K + kids fun run.
5:00 PM activities. Music at 6:00 PM.
Laser light show at 9:45 PM.

Start the day off with the kids fun run or full 4K race. Kids will love the activities, games, crafts, face painting and fire trucks at Two Rivers Park. Save yourself the hassle and grab dinner at one of the food vendors.
