Q3 2019 vs 2019 Market Report
The Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty Market Report compares cumulative sales in 2019 to those in 2018. Sales are separated by area: Aspen, Snowmass Village, Woody Creek, Old Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. Then the statistics are further separated by single family homes and condos, town homes and duplexes.
In the mid-Valley, the number of sales in Basalt have been about the same as last year. Average sale price is slightly up (7% for single family and 3% for condos, town homes and duplexes). In Carbondale, we are seeing about the same number of single family sales, but a 24% increase in average sale price. There has been quite a bit more activity with condos, town homes and duplexes in Carbondale - 47 sales so far last year and 60 so far this year. Carbondale condo, town home and duplex average prices have increased about 12%. Overall, it seems that the mid-Valley seller’s market is still strong - prices are still up and still increasing modestly and the number of sales is still healthy. Click the button below to read more!
